A Music Camp for Beginners and Young Musicians
You do not have to be enrolled in El Sistema Texas to apply. The camp includes a first step for beginners as well as a separate advanced week. Choose the age-appropriate session and tell us about your child’s interests and experience. Activities and placement are confirmed by the camp team.
Summer Music Camp Auditions & Admission
An audition is required before camp admission. Apply for the age-appropriate week first; the camp team will then provide the preparation requirements and confirm audition arrangements. The audition helps assess readiness and appropriate placement for the selected program.
1. Apply for Your Week
Share the student’s age, instrument or voice, musical background and preferred camp week in the Summer 2027 application.
2. Complete the Audition
Follow the camp team’s age- and session-specific guidance. Audition dates, format and preparation details will be confirmed by our team.
3. Confirm Enrollment
After the admission and placement decision, complete the confirmed enrollment and payment steps. An application or audition alone does not reserve a place.
Young beginners: no previous music lessons are required to apply for Musical Initiation, ages 4–8. Its audition will be appropriate to the child’s age and experience. Request guidance before preparing music; advanced orchestra audition materials do not apply to this week.
