About the program
Learning music. Learning to belong.
Our Orchestra program brings children and young people together through instrumental learning and ensemble playing. Students build technique and music-reading skills while learning to listen, follow a conductor, and contribute to a shared musical goal. The journey grows with each musician, from a first ensemble experience to more demanding orchestral and chamber repertoire.
Learning by making music together
Inspired by El Sistema, collective music-making is at the heart of the experience. Preparing a part, listening to other sections, and rehearsing together turn individual practice into shared responsibility, discipline, and collaboration.
Building foundations
Overture Orchestra develops pulse, tone, intonation, active listening, and the habits of playing together.
Growing musicians
Symphony Orchestra strengthens technique and ensemble skills through symphonic works, Latin American music, and educational arrangements.
Advanced pathways
Philharmonic develops precision, interpretation, and leadership. Chamber Orchestra offers a select advanced string experience alongside Philharmonic.
Students join the ensemble appropriate to their musical readiness. Our teaching team guides placement, and advanced levels use auditions.
