2026–2027 orchestral auditions in West Houston, welcoming young musicians from across Greater Houston. Submit a Round 1 video; attend a live callback only if invited.
Evaluation Criteria
The panel reviews the complete audition, including preparation and ensemble readiness. No single excerpt or exercise determines placement. Chamber placement also emphasizes blend, independence and leadership. The criteria below support a placement that fits the student’s development and ensemble instrumentation needs.
