The 4th Edition of the Summer Festival is designed to provide young musicians with an immersive experience in orchestral and choral training. Whether your child is just starting out or already part of our program, we have a place for them!

🎵 Week 1: Musical Beginnings (July 1-7)

For children Pre-K to 2nd grade

🌟 A fun and engaging introduction to music through:

✅ Rhythm and movement activities
✅ Instrument discovery (violin, viola, cello, bass)
✅ Singing and musical storytelling

This week is perfect for young children who want to explore the world of music in a creative and interactive way.

🎻 Week 2: New Talents Take the Stage (July 8-14)

For students new to El Sistema Texas (all ages)

🎼 Intensive training for students new to orchestral and choral programs, focusing on:
✅ Fundamentals of playing in an ensemble
✅ Introduction to sight-reading and musical techniques
✅ Confidence-building through teamwork

This week helps new students integrate into our orchestral and choral programs, preparing them for the upcoming season.

🎼 Week 3: Mastering the Music (July 15-22)

For returning students in our orchestral and choral programs

🎶 Advanced training for students already enrolled in El Sistema Texas:

✅ Sectional rehearsals and technical refinement
✅ Artistic interpretation and ensemble development
✅ Preparing for upcoming seasonal concerts

This week focuses on skill enhancement, helping students grow as musicians in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
