The audience couldn’t contain their excitement and applauded each of the pieces performed, ending in a standing ovation that was reciprocated with a final song, “Feliz Navidad,” which was sung by everyone present, showing their satisfaction and pride in the talent of these young musicians.
The Christmas concert demonstrated the talent and dedication that these young musicians have been developing for over a year of study and learning. This Christmas concert was the 10th by El Sistema Texas in 2023, and they are preparing to conclude the year with a grand finale at the Christmas Gala to be held on December 17 at Barker Cypress Rd, Houston, where everyone is of course invited to attend.
